Significant growth in 2020
Remote desktop software is in demand worldwide as never before and will remain very strong in the future due to the accelerated work-from-home trend. This trend has contributed to massive growth for AnyDesk, where the number of downloads of its software doubled from 150 million to 300 million in 2020. In the past financial year, AnyDesk has also doubled the number of its paying customers to 50,000. As a result of the growth, the company's number of employees has also grown to more than 90 since its founding in 2014.

Global Player Insight Partners is stocking up its share
A further growth accelerator is the additional investment from New York-based venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners. The global growth investor recently increased its stake in AnyDesk in November, which comes on the heels of its original investment less than a year ago. Focus for 2021 on continued growth
