Carrying on with the tradition of Everything Optical, Anything Optical is a family oriented optical practice which provides a variety of optical services including selling glasses, contact lenses, and frames. In addition, Anything Optical recently added medical services such as treatment of eye disease (i.e. glaucoma, macular degeneration, conjunctivitis, among others).
With the renovation comes new medical equipment, as well as new inventory, such as a wide variety of frames from major manufacturers and state of the art equipment including an OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomography) which allows for scans of the eye akin to an MRI and a visual field scanner testing for peripheral vision.
Owner and licensed optometric physician, Dr. Michael McDermott serves Philadelphia providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities. Dr. McDermott provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition Dr. McDermott is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension.
