AP Breaks Ground on Banner Health's Torrington Community Hospital

TORRINGTON, Wyo., Sept. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) and Banner Health celebrated the culmination of three years of planning, with the groundbreaking of the Torrington Community Hospital Expansion project.

The project, designed by Boulder Associates, includes a 13,057-sf addition and a 5,671-sf renovation to the current Banner Health Torrington Community Hospital in Wyoming. New construction will accommodate a new entry/drop off on the north side of the building in addition to two new OR's, Sterile Processing, and surgical support spaces. This addition will also provide space for new blood draw bays, ultrasound, mammography, and MRI spaces. This expansion will require substantial upgrades to existing mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems as well as parking and site modifications for the increased number of expanded services. The project also includes a multi-phased renovation to the endoscopy, pre/post-op, CT, radiology, lobby, gift shop and admin support spaces in the existing hospital.

The project is expected to be completed by January 2020.
