Apex Learning, a recognized leader in online learning for secondary education, announced a partnership with Seattle Public Schools to provide 7th – 12th grade students with access to credit recovery courses this summer. Districts nationwide use Apex Learning digital curriculum as a critical part of their online learning program to address student learning gaps and recover necessary credits they need to progress toward graduation.

Apex Learning credit recovery courses provide each student with the opportunity to focus on exactly what they need to master to recover credits. Tailored supports give students access to rigorous, standards-based instruction. When they do earn credits, students are ready for the next course, end-of-course test or state assessment.

“This has been a challenging spring for districts and their students who have acclimated to new learning environments and adjusted to such rapid change,” said Chris Porter, CEO, Apex Learning. “We are honored to expand our relationship with Seattle Public Schools by providing students and their families with flexible options to ensure students stay on track.”

“We are always actively seeking opportunities to leverage the strength of our district, while also implementing effective strategies to foster academic achievement,” said Denise Juneau, Superintendent, Seattle Public Schools. “Our partnership with Apex Learning certainly does both. Given the disruption in learning that occurred this spring, it’s important students use this time to keep students on track, so they are ready to hit the ground running in the fall.”
