The American Pet Products Association (APPA) is excited to announce they have solutions for pets who are at home during the day. As the back to school season approaches, pets might be feeling a little lonely in a quieter household as summer comes to an end. According to the APPA 2019-2020 National Pet Owners Survey, over a third of pet owners have children under 18, and over half of cat and dog owners keep their pets inside during the day. With less people to play with during the day, pets will need an alternative solution to get stimulation. Below are products manufactured by APPA members to help pets stay active even when they are alone at home.

The Ricochet Electronic Dog Toy by PetSafe® gives dogs a new type of challenging toy. When dogs are done for the day, it will automatically turn off after 60 minutes of non-interaction to conserve the battery life.
