MYSTIC, Conn., Aug. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In order to expose its residents to live music, Apple Rehab Mystic is treating them every Tuesday night to concerts at Mystic River Park. "It's great to get our residents a change of scenery for an evening of fun and music by the historic Mystic Seaport," said Wes Downing, Administrator of Apple Rehab Mystic.
Every Tuesday, Apple Rehab Mystic staff members accompany residents to the concerts on the green. Family members also bring their loved ones to the concerts. "It is a great event and residents love the short walk to the green to hear live music," added Downing.
Concerts, which feature a local community music group each week, are at 7 p.m. Admission is free for all concerts, and it is recommended to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Picnics are welcome.
