EDXRF instrumentation offers solutions for upstream, midstream and downstream use in the petroleum industry for the measurement of sulfur, chlorine and metals in crude and fuel oils, including automotive, aviation and marine fuels.
AUSTIN, Texas (PRWEB) October 27, 2020
Applied Rigaku Technologies, Inc. (ART) is pleased to announce the next event in a series of TOPIQ webinars, which will cover Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) technology and its use in the petroleum industry. The web event, EDXRF Analyzers in the Petroleum Industry, will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Attendees will have the option to attend a morning or evening session. 9 AM or 8 PM in Central Time (US and Canada).
The TOPIQ series of webinars presented by Rigaku Corporation, a global leader in X-ray analytical instrumentation, was developed in response to social distancing measures implemented over concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). It was designed to accommodate those who are currently unable to attend live events.
In the upcoming webinar, the utility of EDXRF technology and its application for every stage of the exploration, production, and distribution process will be presented. EDXRF instrumentation offers solutions for upstream, midstream and downstream use in the petroleum industry for the measurement of sulfur, chlorine and metals in crude and fuel oils, including automotive, aviation and marine fuels.
Elemental analysis of lubricating oils will also be discussed, followed by a summary of the ASTM and other international standard test methods related to EDXRF analysis. The program will conclude by providing an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of an ASTM XRF expert in a live Q&A session.
