California (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- The market was taken by a storm when BlackBerry unveiled its latest OS BlackBerry 10 for the users. The new OS has received many positive reviews from the critics and the company is pushing this OS aggressively in the market. This new OS also meant a new platform for app development for users of Appy Pie, the fast growing cloud based Mobile Apps Builder that allows users with no programming skills to create an App, which now has added Support for Blackberry 10 Apps.
Passbook is a new feature of iOS6, Passbook is a place to store boarding passes, loyalty cards, store rewards cards, coupon codes and even movie tickets. Information of all those cards or coupon codes will be stored in the Passbook app, where retailers just have to scan the QR code to validate.
“We have added a Coupon Page to our App Builder that will let businesses from small to large enterprises to create their own Passbook passes in minutes and these passes know your location meaning if you show up at the airport it will zap your boarding pass to your lock screen so you don't have to fumble around in email or elsewhere looking for it; or if you have money stored on a Starbucks tab, it will automatically pull up your card when you enter a store so you can pay for your latte by scanning your phone at the POS." says Abs Girdhar, Founder Appy Pie
“In the last couple of Months, we have seen a big increase in the number of users asking us of when are we announcing support for Blackberry 10 Apps, now when we have added this support we’re looking forward to seeing our users publishing there apps in Blackberry App Store .” Concluded Girdhar.
