AppZero Launches a Beta Program for AZ-Monitor
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) September 26, 2016 -- AppZero is offering demos of an initial version of its AZ-Monitor product at Microsoft Ignite on September 26-30, 2016, in Atlanta, Georgia. The company invites customers to help shape the future of application monitoring and migration by providing feedback and expressing interest in a Beta trial program for the product.
The AZ-Monitor agent can help you unlock the data you need to size application migrations and capacity as applications move to new in-house servers or to hybrid or public cloud environments. AZ-Monitor helps you:
-Discover and map which applications are running on which Windows server in your datacenter.
-Understand the usage patterns of applications in your datacenter to help rationalize and consolidate your footprint.
-Understand capacity specifications for applications and size cloud-based or datacenter servers.
-Prioritize application migration and create a migration plan.
-Automatically capture all application dependencies during migration, which leads to less end user acceptance testing post migration.
AZ-Monitor is based on existing and proven AppZero functionality, such as AppZero Source Monitor and PACE. The product will feature a new user interface for administration of multiple servers and multiple applications.
“AZ-Monitor is an exciting development. It brings together robust monitoring capabilities under a common admin dialog. We believe it will help customers analyze their existing app footprint rapidly. Using AZ-Monitor in combination with AZ-Migrate will allow customers to move quickly to any new OS platform in the datacenter or in the cloud,” said AppZero CEO Nigel Stokes.
Shape the Future - Try AZ-Monitor During the Beta Trial Period
A Beta trial period will be available starting Fall 2016, during which time selected customers will have the opportunity to try a Beta version of AZ-Monitor on up to 5 servers.
Pricing will complement AppZero's AZ-Migrate product, which is used to migrate applications from older to newer Microsoft OS versions without the need for re-installation. Though customers may find it advantageous to subscribe to both products, a subscription to AZ-Monitor is not required to use AZ-Migrate. Each product can work independently.
Initial Version of AZ-Monitor By End of 2016
Based on feedback obtained at MS Ignite and contingent on customer interest in a Beta program for AZ-Monitor, AppZero will launch an initial version of AZ-Monitor by the end of 2016.
