AquaBlok to Present and Exhibit at Annual Erosion Control Conference
SWANTON, Ohio (PRWEB) January 31, 2018 -- AquaBlok, Ltd., a manufacturer of bentonite-based sealing and erosion control materials, will present and exhibit at the 2018 International Erosion Control Association’s (IECA) Annual Conference and Expo. The highly successful and internationally known event, which brings together professionals in the erosion and sediment control and storm water industry, will take place in Long Beach, CA from February 11-14 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
Geotechnical Sales Manager Kevin VanTuyl will be speaking at the conference on Tuesday, February 13 at 8:00am. His presentation, titled “Anti-Seep/Trench Dam - Overview of Traditional and New BMP for Minimizing Erosion Along Underground Utilities,” will introduce new materials and construction methods proven to minimize erosion along underground utilities.
Mr. VanTuyl will also identify and recommend other potential uses for the materials and construction methods, such as pond and basin repair, cut-off walls, and flood control. “What’s, perhaps, most exciting about AquaBlok is its versatility,” he says. “We have seen an increasing number of applications where the time- and cost-savings over conventional materials and methods have been proven.
