Commercial real estate technology expert, Mike Donovan, to identify strategies for disrupting the asset management industry by leveraging fundamental CRE components

The 2019 Realcomm Conference will bring together building owners, developers, CIOs, CTOs, asset managers and sustainability directors from around the world on June 13-14, 2019. The conference combines commercial and corporate real estate, technology, automation and innovation and is considered the largest real estate technology conference in the world. Mike Donovan is the vice president of product at Aquicore, a leading commercial real estate software company with an all-in-one asset operations and management platform. In this role, Donovan drives the development, maintenance and implementation of new features and enhancements to the Aquicore platform. As an accomplished software engineer, Donovan specializes in creating and implementing web and mobile applications, building cloud-native architectures as well as optimizing enterprise systems and IoT software.

Prior to joining Aquicore, Donovan worked as a senior principal at Dante Consulting where he was lead developer for various projects ranging from back end web services to front end web site design and implementation of mobile applications. While at Dante Consulting, Donovan implemented the first build of Mastercard’s Masterpass platform in addition to developing Mastercard’s “Priceless Cities.” Before Dante Consulting, Donovan was a web developer at the University of Maryland, where he pioneered the use of gamification techniques for cognitive testing, and was a web developer and technician at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center.
