Phased Renovation will Provide Interior Upgrades Across Multiple Floors of Government Administration and Public Services Building

Architecture, Incorporated has been selected by Arlington County to lead the interior renovation of the 235,000 sf Courthouse Plaza government administration building located in Clarendon, VA. The complex renovation will optimize the work environment in response to changing business processes and consolidation of public-facing services. Phased renovations will span multiple floors of the ten-story building and is slated to achieve LEED Silver certification.

Principal-in-Charge of the project Clint Brackman, AIA says of the firm’s efforts, “We are pleased to partner once again with Arlington County on a complex renovation project.” He furthered, “The award of this project is a testament to the quality of Architecture, Incorporated’s design services and the dedication we have shown to our clients.”

Architecture, Inc. has a long history of successfully collaborating with Arlington County on their facilities improvement programs, having studied potential workplace strategies that ultimately influenced the government center renovation. Additionally, the firm provided architecture and interior design for multiple phases of the consolidation of the Department of Human Services at Sequoia Plaza, totaling 220,000 sf.
