Arctic Fox Founder Kristen Leanne Brightens the Holiday Season for Two Single Moms

SAN MARCOS, Calif., Dec. 24, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In an effort to raise awareness and help single moms who are struggling this holiday season, Kristen Leanne, beauty guru and Founder of Arctic Fox Hair Color, recently gave two single moms $500 each, as well as beauty care packages from Smile Mama Smile and KVD Beauty.

Growing up in a similar situation, Kristen Leanne remembers what Christmas was like as a child with a single mom: "When I was little, I found out Santa Claus wasn't real because my mom didn't have enough money to buy us presents. As an adult, I can imagine how heart-wrenching this was for her. I wish someone had been there to help her," said Leanne.

One of the winners of Kristen Leanne's Instagram giveaway is a single mom who endured the loss of a son and a very abusive marriage. She shared that she finally found the courage to leave the relationship with her eight-month-old baby girl. She doesn't have any assistance from anyone else and is struggling to repair her broken-down car. Despite all of these challenges, the mom says, she is committed to giving her daughter the happiest and best life possible.

The other mother became a single mom after her child's dad ended up in jail and developed serious addiction issues. She struggles to provide food for her son and recently was placed out of work because of neck surgery complications. She says she's doing everything she can to give her son the best life possible given the circumstances.

"I am so touched and heartbroken by these stories," said Kristen Leanne. "These incredible women are working so hard to just give their children the basic essentials. I hope in some small way I can make their lives a little better. I am so grateful they shared their stories, and I hope this will help raise awareness about the struggles so many single moms are facing right now."

Kristen Leanne, along with her company Arctic Fox Hair Color, have a long history of giving donations to charitable causes, including social justice causes, such as the Black Lives Matter movement. Arctic Fox also donates 15% of all its earnings to animal rescue charities of various kinds.
