Introducing a compelling new dimension to the Arizona Biltmore experience, establishing the destination as one of the region's most exciting culinary addresses
PHOENIX, Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Arizona Biltmore and the Wrigley Mansion are pleased to announce a new chapter in their shared story, with the Wrigley Mansion joining the Arizona Biltmore under ownership by Henderson Park in a joint venture with Western & Southern Financial Group, and funds managed by Hamilton Lane, South Street Partners and Pyramid Global Hospitality. Pyramid Global Hospitality will oversee operations at both properties. Nearly a century after William Wrigley Jr. helped establish the Arizona Biltmore as one of the nation's most celebrated resort destinations and later commissioned Wrigley Mansion as an anniversary gift for his wife, the two neighboring landmarks are now under the same ownership, united by a shared vision for exceptional hospitality, dining and experiences.
The reunion celebrates a remarkable shared heritage while ushering in an elevated and distinctive culinary experience for locals, Arizona Biltmore guests and travelers alike. Together, Arizona Biltmore and Wrigley Mansion will offer an extraordinary collection of experiences spanning world-class accommodations, award-winning dining, transformative wellness, fitness and recreation, and truly unexpected and unforgettable settings. The Wrigley Mansion's acclaimed culinary program, anchored by Christopher's – recently recognized in Michelin's inaugural Southwest Guide as one of 12 recommended restaurants in Arizona – adds a compelling new dimension to the Arizona Biltmore experience, further establishing the destination as one of the region's most exciting culinary addresses.
"There are very few opportunities in hospitality to bring two landmarks together that have been connected to one another from the very beginning," said Michael Hoffmann, vice president and managing director of Arizona Biltmore. "Wrigley Mansion and Arizona Biltmore share a remarkable history, but what excites us most is the opportunity to create a new chapter for both – one that honors what makes each property special while introducing new experiences for guests today."
"Wrigley Mansion is an extraordinary property with a deep sense of place, and we are excited to bring its culinary and hospitality strengths into closer connection with the Arizona Biltmore," said Nick Weber, CEO and founder of Henderson Park. "Together, these destinations create an exceptional platform for delivering distinctive experiences while honoring the character that has made each one so special."
A Shared History, Reimagined
Perched atop a 100-foot knoll above the Arizona Biltmore, Wrigley Mansion offers sweeping 360-degree views of the Valley, where storied character meets a distinctly elevated point of view. In 1931, William Wrigley Jr., who had helped establish and owned the neighboring Arizona Biltmore, commissioned the Mansion as a 50th wedding anniversary gift for his wife, Ada – creating a legacy shared by the two Phoenix landmarks for nearly a century.
The Mansion entered a new chapter in 1992, when Geordie and Jamie Hormel stepped in to save the historic property from demolition. The Hormel family's long-standing connection to food, hospitality and community helped shape the Mansion's next era, with Geordie and Jamie leading its thoughtful restoration and preserving its distinctive character for generations to come. Today, the property continues to reflect that legacy through its celebrated dining, hospitality and special events, while remaining an enduring part of Phoenix's architectural and cultural landscape.
At the culinary forefront, Christopher's, led by James Beard Award-winning Chef Christopher Gross, brings elevated epicurean experiences to the Mansion. Recognized in Michelin's inaugural guide to the Southwest as one of the top recommended restaurants in Arizona, Christopher's pairs acclaimed cuisine with striking contemporary architecture and an extraordinary indoor-outdoor setting.
Alongside Christopher's, Geordie's Restaurant & Lounge pairs the Mansion's historic grandeur with modern seasonal cuisine, sweeping Valley views and an acclaimed wine program. Jamie's Wine Bar, tucked into the Mansion's original library, offers an intimate fireside setting with a rotating selection of wines by the glass and shareable small plates.
The Mansion's distinctive spaces also offer an exceptional setting for private dining, weddings and celebrations, with its historic architecture, ballroom, gardens and sweeping Valley views.
A New Chapter for Two Arizona Landmarks
With a proven track record of stewarding iconic hospitality destinations, Pyramid Global Hospitality will manage both properties with its people-first philosophy and commitment to operational excellence, honoring the character and legacy that make each property extraordinary while continuing to elevate them through highly personalized hospitality.
"Wrigley Mansion is a one-of-a-kind property where history, hospitality and excellence come together in a remarkable way," said Warren Fields, CEO of Pyramid Global Hospitality. "We are ready to work alongside the talented associates who have built its reputation as one of Arizona's premier dining and event destinations. We look forward to supporting the next chapter of the Mansion's success while creating long-term value for our partners."
For Arizona Biltmore, the addition of Wrigley Mansion brings a new depth to the resort experience, creating a breadth of culinary offerings that is rare, remarkably refined and distinctly rooted in a sense of place. Together, the two icons create a dining landscape shaped by nearly a century of shared history yet expressed through experiences that feel decidedly of the moment. From approachable resort favorites to celebrated fine dining and intimate culinary concepts, each experience carries its own point of view while remaining connected by the character, creativity and enduring spirit of the destination. It is a natural bridge between past and present, expanding Arizona Biltmore beyond a legendary resort into one of the region's most compelling culinary destinations.
Since the Arizona Biltmore opened in 1929, the 39-acre resort has continued to redefine Arizona luxury while preserving the architectural character, lush grounds and old Hollywood glamour that have made it an enduring icon. Its recent transformation introduced new dining experiences, an expanded collection of pools and cabanas, refreshed luxury cottages, and an elevated wellness offering at Tierra Luna Spa and Sol Garden, named a 2024 Four-Star Spa by Forbes Travel Guide.
Now, with Wrigley Mansion joining its storied legacy and Michelin-recognized dining enhancing its culinary offerings, Arizona Biltmore enters an extraordinary new chapter. Together, the two landmarks continue to redefine luxury hospitality in Phoenix, creating a destination of remarkable depth, character and significance in the Southwest.
