Ark Syndicate Management Ltd Agrees to Participate in CHART ExchangeEvent
Claymont, DE (PRWEB) July 31, 2015 -- Ark Syndicate Management LTD will be one of the London markets participating in the inaugural CHART Exchange event scheduled in October 2015. The firm enjoys a reputation as a premier underwriter of reinsurance and insurance business. Their portfolio includes marine and energy, accident and health, property, specialty, casualty, and reinsurance products. The team from Ark will be led by Richard Bryant, Head of Specialty Programs.
“Ark has been a major player in the United States insurance market since its establishment in 2007,” says Glenn Clark CPCU, the CHART Exchange "earliest adopter" and CEO of Rockwood Programs. “From a personal perspective, our agency has worked with this group in its capacity as a current Lloyds Coverholder. We have been impressed with both Ark’s underwriting expertise and responsiveness to changing market conditions. Other current and prospective Coverholders will profit from their participation in the upcoming event.”
“Richard Bryant has been an enthusiastic proponent of the CHART Exchange concept since its inception,” adds Glenn. “His input has been instrumental in achieving our objective of putting on an event that will be beneficial for all in attendance.”
“Our team looks forward to interacting directly with U.S. insurance agencies,” states Richard Bryant. “We believe they will find that one of the most significant differences between London markets and their domestic counterparts is that we are open to doing programs that are start-ups. We are not asking for a minimum of $5 million or $10 million as a target; our goal is to support entrepreneurial Coverholders that have a good idea in emerging industries.”
The CHART (Cover Holders And Risk Takers) Exchange was established in 2015 to serve as a forum through which London markets could interact directly with U.S.-based insurance agencies. The first meeting will take place on October 12-14 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia PA. The meeting agenda will include a series of workshops designed to initiate constructive dialogue and information-sharing on an array of insurance-related issues. Breakout sessions will address such practical topics as regulatory compliance, the appointment process, and new product submission strategies. Click here to view a brief invitational video.
