We'll teach people about the most common types of online dating scam artists. Then we'll show them how to avoid becoming scam victims.
SAN DIEGO, CA (PRWEB) August 06, 2013
ArrestRecords.us.org is launching a program to make sure that people don't become a scam victim while dating online, the company said yesterday.
“We've learned that one of the main reasons people use our background check service is when they're online dating,” an ArrestRecords.us.org spokesman said. “This made us realize that we could create an education program to help protect them from online dating scam artists.”
The anti-scam program will be available on the member's section of ArrestRecords.us.org, he said.
“We'll teach people about the most common types of online dating scam artists,” the ArrestRecords.us.org spokesman said. “Then we'll show them how to avoid becoming scam victims.”
One common scam, he said, was people pretending to be in love with someone but then claiming they need money for a ticket to visit them. Once the money is sent, the victim never hears from the person again.
“Of course, there are all types on online dating scam operations,” the ArrestRecords.us.org spokesman said. “There are gold diggers out there. There are married men. There are people who want to rob you when they meet you. We will teach our customers about every type of online dating scam there is.”
ArrestRecords.us.org put together the program with the help of former law enforcement officials, he said.
“We hope our customers will never become scam victims again,” he said.
