Artist Denyse Tontz and Producer Suren Wijeyaratne Win an Emmy
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- Artist, songwriter and actress Denyse Tontz, and long time collaborator, Suren Wijeyaratne, win Creative Arts Emmy for outstanding original song in a drama series. The song, entitled, "Parachute", was performed on "All My Children" by Tontz, who also starred on the show.
This is the first Emmy nomination and win for 19-year-old Denyse Tontz, and Hollywood-based music producer Suren.
The multi-talented Denyse Tontz, known for her younger work as a teen star on shows like Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush" and Disney's "Dog With a Blog", has been making a name a for herself lately as a unique and sophisticated pop songwriter.
Her newest offering, "Mr. Hipster", will be released in a few weeks along with her first professionally created music video, directed by Hollywood veteran, Andy Rydzewski.
The song which lovingly teases and challenges hipster stereotypes was co-written and produced by Wijeyaratne and Mike H. Miller, and mixed by multi-Grammy winner, Joel Numa.
Additionally, Ms Tontz has been recently featured in a national Coca Cola campaign, just following the completion of a feature film entitled "Earthfall". More information will be released soon confirming the upcoming video release date for "Mr. Hipster".
