Ascend Finance has surpassed a milestone to help Americans understand and compare their debt relief options.

One Two Three

Ascend Finance has accomplished a major milestone by providing thousands of Americans with pertinent information about debt relief options as it works to enable its mission to make debt freedom cheaper, easier, and faster.

Ascend Finance has built a free Chapter 7 means test calculator to help consumers estimate Chapter 7 qualification and a free Chapter 13 calculator to help consumers estimate their Chapter 13 plan payment. The free tool also allows the consumer to compare different debt relief options side by side including debt management, debt settlement, and debt payoff planning.

People have multiple options when facing financial hardship, but it's difficult to find an unbiased source to describe the costs and information of those debt relief options. Ben Tejes, Co-Founder and CEO stated, "When we started Ascend, we really didn't realize how the lack of information about different debt relief options made it difficult for consumers to make the most informed decision for their finances and their future. The options are extremely complex and have often negative ramifications, so our goal is to build tools to put the power into our user's hands to make debt freedom cheaper, easier, and faster."

In the next year, Ascend plans to continue to develop the Savvy debt payoff planner, which functions as an alternative tool to debt relief that Saved By The Cents ranked as the best debt payoff app in 2020, and refine tools to make it simpler for people to understand their debt relief options.
