Page added that there are some qualifications that a business must meet before it can leverage Shoppable Posts. Per Instagram Help, they are:
- Have an Instagram Business account connected to a Facebook Business page.
- Primarily sell physical goods.
- Create and maintain a Facebook Catalog.
- Be based in an approved market.
- Comply with Instagram’s merchant agreement and commerce policies.
- Submit your account for review and be approved by Instagram.
Page recommends that a brand looking to make use of Shoppable Posts should keep to their existing content strategy, only tagging products in new and existing posts where relevant. This includes reposting content made by influencers and followers.

Page also recommends tagging and creating posts based on follower demographics, tagging locations, and running the occasional Instagram-based promotion.
