MATERIALS PARK, Ohio (PRWEB) May 23, 2019
ASM International recently produced its first-ever “turnkey webinar” for Mager Scientific Inc., an equipment dealer specializing in sample preparation for a wide variety of labs. The new ASM Turnkey Webinar Series is a sponsored webinar model where ASM provides the speaker, a list of presentation topics to select from, and all of the marketing and promotion. The sponsor simply picks a topic that complements their business goals and audience. ASM does the rest and guarantees at least 100 registrants. Following the webinar presentation, the sponsoring company receives detailed metrics on the registered audience.
Sample topics from the new turnkey webinar program include:
- How to Organize and Run a Failure Investigation
- Failure Analysis Series—FA Procedures, Corrosion, Wear, Elevated Temperature, Fatigue, Brittle and Ductile Failures
- Microstructure Series—Aluminum, Steels, Titanium, Superalloys, Copper
Daniel Dennies, Ph.D., the dedicated speaker for the ASM Turnkey Webinar Series, is a long-time ASM member and Fellow with over 30 years of experience as a metallurgist and decades of teaching and speaking engagements. During the Mager-sponsored webinar held on April 16, Dennies presented “Failure Analysis and Engineering Design Challenges of Additive Manufacturing” to a highly engaged audience. In this inaugural turnkey webinar, registration numbers were among ASM’s highest ever recorded for its longstanding educational webinar series.
Jarrad Lawlor, Mager Scientific, said, “We are thrilled to partner with ASM to bring technical resources and expertise to our customers through a meaningful webinar experience. This format allows us maximum flexibility in selecting relevant topical presentations. We are already busy gathering feedback to plan our next one.”
ASM International is well known for offering educational webinars to engineers, operators, technicians, and other personnel who need materials knowledge in their current role. The webinar program allows working professionals to tune in to a variety of webinar topics at times and places that fit into their busy schedules. Webinars are first presented as a live event with an active question and answer session, and are then archived for viewing at a later date.
