Excellence Award winners personify innovation that drives business results. Our winners embrace the future and embrace change and the challenges that go with it.
(PRWEB) September 04, 2018
ASM International, a leader in materials science education and reference content, won a coveted Brandon Hall Group silver award for excellence in the Best Advance in Custom Content category. The win was awarded for ASM’s Digital Short Course, “Mechanical Properties and Their Measurement.” The course is a self-guided Digital Short Course, where students learn through rich visuals, narrated animations, demonstration videos, and interactive quizzes.
“Excellence Award winners personify innovation that drives business results. Our winners embrace the future and embrace change and the challenges that go with it,” said Rachel Cooke, Chief Operating Officer of Brandon Hall Group and head of the awards program. “It is amazing in reviewing these entries how organizations – both large and small – work across functions to make human capital management a valuable asset that enables business success.”
“Mechanical Properties and Their Measurement” was created from a portion of ASM’s most popular course, Metallurgy for the Non-Metallurgist. When completed, there will be a total of seven Digital Short Courses detailing every aspect of Metallurgy for the Non-Metallurgist. ASM has worked directly with Mitr Learning & Media to create the Digital Short Courses. ASM International would like to thank Mitr Learning & Media for their role in digitizing “Mechanical Properties and Their Measurement.” A complete list of awards and recipients can be found on the Brandon Hall Group website.
