FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 25, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A new smart-device application released today by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) will make it easier for cardiovascular healthcare professionals to learn and implement the latest evidence-based imaging to improve patient care. The "ASNC Clinical and Quality Resources App" contains key guidelines and educational materials in a single electronically searchable portal. It also offers the most up-to-date guidance on cardiac amyloidosis care in eight languages: Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish.

The resources app includes the latest guidelines, expert consensus documents and information statements across the field of nuclear cardiology and molecular imaging. Topics include SPECT and cardiovascular PET protocols; best practices for cardio-oncology and imaging in women; and the latest guidance for standardized imaging methods, diagnostic criteria and appropriate imaging utiization in the rapidly evolving area of cardiac amyloidosis.
