SAN DIEGO, Oct. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. Ryan McNally, ND, MS, PA and Dr. Shashita Inamdar, MD, PhD, DABPN will be presenting at the 2019 Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine conference. Their presentation titled Advances in Integrative Neuropsychiatry and Functional Mental Health, will evaluate the pros and cons of integrative treatments and how they can be used to promote brain health, and reduce the debilitating symptoms of a range of neuropsychiatric disorders.
The focus of this presentation will be to assess the clinical data, indications and new frontiers of specific treatment options including neuro-navigation and transcranial magnetic stimulation for TMS, neurofeedback, bioidentical hormones, supplements, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), and nutrition. Dr. McNally and Dr. Inamdar will discuss how these treatments and therapies can be effectively used in treating mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, autism, ADHD, dementia, and TBIs. They will also evaluate the utility of micro-nutrient testing, hormone testing, and pharmacogenetic testing. The panel will discuss participant questions and concerns to give an in-depth review of clinical best practices from the perspective of the clinician experience in the constantly evolving field of integrative neuropsychiatry.
