CGi has achieved rare annual membership growth – averaging 15% annually over the last 10 years for its clients including the American Case Management Association (ACMA). Client size ranges from 300 to 8,000 members. These recent executive promotions are important as CGi has specific goals and metrics for its clients and is positioning the leadership team to enable continued growth and success.
Debra McElroy, MPH, RN, is a proven healthcare executive who joined CGi in 2017 to advance the practice of Case Management and Transitions of Care. In her expanded role as Senior Vice President, McElroy will oversee Practice Development, Education and Public Policy and will report to L. Greg Cunningham, CEO of CGi. McElroy brings a unique background in healthcare operations and executive roles in nursing and acute care hospitals, as well as local and national association management experience. The shaping of a professional practice requires definition and standards, education and competency measurement and advocacy regarding national legislation and regulation. Her experience, professional network and demonstrated facilitation of national subject matter experts are foundational to leading the future growth of CGi and ACMA.
CGi has promoted Sandy McFolling, RN, MS, ACM, to Vice President for Practice Development and Chapter Relations. McFolling is now responsible for Certification Services assuming the executive leadership role of current and future certifications. She also has responsibilities for Continuing Education including the approval of nursing, social work and physician course offerings as well as compliance. McFolling continues to oversee ACMA Chapter Relations working with 31 U.S. based local organizations and members. In her expanded role, McFolling brings three years in ACMA leadership and 30 years of healthcare clinical and operational experience.
