In this capacity Ty will be responsible for increasing overall organic growth, recruitment of sales talent - including training and development initiatives for the Production Team. In addition, he will bring focus to the utilization of industry verticals as well as specialty products expertise which exists throughout AssuredPartners.
Prior to joining AssuredPartners, Ty worked with a national insurance brokerage firm for 14 years where he most recently held the position of President of the Metro Area. In this role he was responsible for a group of offices located in New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia and Delaware generating approximately $55M in Annualized Revenues.
Ty graduated from the University of Colorado (Denver) with a BS in Business with a concentration in finance. He has earned the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Claims (AIC), and holds licenses in 36 States.
