Asuris Northwest Health Achieves NCQA Accreditation
Spokane, Wash. (PRWEB) September 27, 2016 -- Today Asuris Northwest Health announced that it has achieved National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation for its health plan offerings.
NCQA evaluates how effectively a health plan manages all parts of its delivery system, including; physicians, hospitals, other health care professionals, and administrative services. Health plans are also measured by their ability to drive improvements in four key areas: quality improvement, utilization management, member services and provider credentialing.
NCQA Accreditation provides health care consumers the ability to evaluate the quality of different health plans across a variety of important criterion. This allows individuals to make health plan decisions based on demonstrated value rather than simply on cost.
