Athena Software Awarded California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) Agreement
Waterloo, Ont. software company Athena Software has been awarded a California Multiple Award Schedules agreement, allowing all California state and local government agencies to procure Athena's Penelope case management software solution for use by health and human services providers.
WATERLOO, Ontario, July 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Athena Software, a leading provider of case management software and client engagement options for human services providers worldwide, has been awarded a California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) agreement by the state of California.
The CMAS program streamlines the procurement process for state and local government agencies in California by designating pre-approved suppliers from whom they can solicit technology products such as Athena's cloud-based Penelope case management software and its world-class professional services.
"We are extremely pleased to have been awarded a CMAS agreement by the state of California," said Geoff Bellew, CEO of Athena Software. "As an approved vendor, we look forward to providing government agencies in the state with configurable, cloud-based software that helps establish a single source of truth about their end clients' case files and impact outcomes, while ensuring HIPAA compliant data security, flexible outcomes reporting, and improved engagement between service provider agencies and their clients."
Athena's growing suite of client engagement options for Penelope are also available via CMAS and include Add.Me, a configurable web form that streamlines the intake process for social service organizations, and ClientConnect, a mobile customer portal that provides a secure way for an agency's clients to access their health records and connect with their service providers.
In addition to state and local government agencies, the CMAS designation makes it easier for California state universities, community colleges, and K-12 public schools to procure and deploy Penelope case management software.
CMAS agreements help save time and money for government agencies and health and human services providers by eliminating the need for lengthy and complicated bidding processes, while providing transparent pricing that has been pre-assessed as fair, reasonable, and competitive, along with pre-assessed terms and conditions, insurance requirements, and more.
