This unique product, designed for the HVAC industry, not only offers the same impressive energy savings as other EC motors, but also provides tri-voltage (115, 208/230, 277 VAC) compatibility suited for input power systems ranging from 115-277 V, 50/60 Hz in a single motor SKU. This unique design feature, coupled with its small footprint and extensive input/output options (3-speed selectable, 0-10 VDC, PWM, tachometer output) allows businesses to streamline their operations by reducing the number of motor SKUs in their inventory, ultimately providing more flexibility to adapt to their customer demand.
After years of perfecting the motor's design to ensure it performs at optimum level and provides the greatest benefit to consumers, East West obtained UL1004-7 approval in late December, 2018. Their team of experts has garnered 20 years of experience manufacturing AC motors before developing its own branded product.

Even with a compact 95 mm frame size footprint the East West 1/6th HP EC Motor has a peak efficiency of 74 percent versus comparable PSC motor efficiencies in the 50-60% range.
