Atlanta Attorney Ranse Partin, of Conley Griggs Partin recently joined a distinguished panel of in-house counsel members from the aviation industry, along with insurers and federal jurists to discuss new developments in aviation and space litigation at a national seminar in Washington D.C. Hosted by the Aviation Section of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TTIPS), the annual event is attended by attorneys from the aviation industry, as well as federal government, defense and plaintiff law firms.

For several decades, Washington D.C. has been home to a national seminar highlighting the most current issues in aviation and space litigation. This year’s program entitled Contemporary Aviation & Space Litigation: A World View discussed challenges facing the aviation, space and insurance sectors. Special counsel from the aviation industry, as well as insurers, government officials and federal jurists offered their views on current and developing issues.

Attorney Ranse Partin was selected as a member of the planning committee for the event, serving as Vice-Chair, and was also named Membership Vice-Chair for the upcoming year. Mr. Partin shared his insight on the recent developments in aviation law in the last twelve months, including new case law on personal jurisdiction and the Federal Aviation Act.
