Social Security Disability Attorney Anjel Burgess Speaks at Annual Hypersomnia Conference
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) August 14, 2015 -- Anjel Burgess recently spoke at the Annual Hypersomnia Foundation Conference held at the Emory Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta. Burgess’ presentation included topics such as the procedural aspects of filing for disability benefits, how the Social Security Administration (SSA) typically treats sleep disorders, and proven techniques for winning benefits for adults and children. The session was very well-received by an audience that asked insightful questions and shared personal experiences.
“The hypersomnia conference was a first class event that provided a great opportunity to discuss very important topics related to sleep disorders, as well as where individuals and families can find financial and emotional assistance,” said Burgess. “I also learned quite a bit from listening to the other experts share their knowledge and experiences, and hope to do more work with Hypersomnia Foundation in the future.”
Burgess believes that one of the most important things her law firm can do is help educate the general public about conditions that may qualify for social security disability benefits. Her firm will be exhibiting at the Georgia Lupus Empowerment Summit on September 19th at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel. “We believe that the practice of law not only involves the representation of clients, but extends to helping other community members move forward in a positive way when faced with difficult circumstances.”
