NEW YORK (PRWEB) May 14, 2020
May 14, 2020 - Attentive®, a personalized text messaging SaaS platform for leading brands and organizations, announced today the launch of Accelerate 2020, an initiative to support restaurant and hospitality businesses recover from a period of widespread closures due to COVID-19. Accepted companies will receive up to $10 million total in free Attentive-powered text messages, as well as strategic guidance from Attentive’s white-glove client strategy and creative services teams.
Attentive created the Accelerate 2020 initiative after recognizing the increased importance for restaurant and hospitality businesses to stay connected with their customers during this time. Considering the sharp rise in consumers’ time spent on mobile phones, particularly in recent months, text messaging is a powerful communications channel for brands.
This program is designed to help businesses impacted by COVID-19 related closures to quickly grow a list of opted-in text messaging subscribers, engage with their customer base, and drive revenue from delivery, takeout or curbside pickup orders, and gift card options.
Companies will be able to send their mobile audiences direct communications via text messaging about updates to store hours, menus, food safety, open locations, and current social distancing guidelines.
Restaurant and hospitality businesses with over five US locations who are interested in taking part in the Attentive Accelerate 2020 initiative are encouraged to apply. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Companies accepted into the initiative will be notified and will receive free text messages powered by Attentive as well as extensive support, including access to strategic planning and campaign optimization services.
“It's critical for restaurants and hospitality companies to have a direct way to communicate with existing and potential customers, especially now that business operations and policies are changing frequently,” said Brian Long, Co-Founder and CEO of Attentive. “Our hope is that Attentive Accelerate 2020 will have a powerful, positive impact on helping businesses stay connected with their customers—setting them up for success now by supercharging their marketing efforts so that when they gradually re-open over time, their audiences will be in-the-know.”
Attentive recently raised a $110 million Series C investment led by Sequoia, IVP, Sequoia Capital Global Equities (Sequoia’s hybrid crossover fund), and Coatue. Bain Capital Ventures, Eniac Ventures, NextView Ventures, and High Alpha are also investors in Attentive. Over 1,000 leading businesses see powerful results with Attentive—including Coach, Urban Outfitters, CB2, PacSun, Lulus, and Jack in the Box—driving billions of dollars in transactions.
