A Fox Valley native, Bernander grew up in Green Bay, Wisc. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School, where he graduated with honors. Upon graduation, he served as a law clerk to judges in the Brown and Outagamie County Circuit Courts and later took a position with the Brown County Child Support Agency as a staff attorney before being promoted to Supervising Attorney.
After leaving the public sector for private practice in 2015, Adam worked at a local Fox Valley Law Firm prior to joining Herrling Clark Law Firm. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, as well as various local bar organizations and the Honorable Robert J. Parins Legal Society of Northeastern Wisconsin.
Bernander is actively involved in the local community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Mediation Center of Greater Green Bay as well as the Wisconsin Humane Society. When he is not practicing law, Adam loves to spend time with his family at their cottage in Door County or on the golf course.
