Reddock-Wright, an employment law attorney, mediator, and arbitrator, will be installed as President of the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA), as a part of the SCMA's 30th Anniversary Mediation Conference.
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Reddock Law Group is pleased to announce that on Friday, November 2, 2018, its Founder & Managing Partner, Angela J. Reddock-Wright, an employment law attorney, mediator, and arbitrator, will be installed as President of the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA). The installation will take place at the LA Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and is a part of SCMA's 30th Anniversary Conference where the theme is "Striving for Excellence: The Emergence of the Modern Mediator." Reddock-Wright, along with several new members to the SCMA Board of Directors, will be installed and sworn in by The Honorable Candace Cooper, retired judge of the California Court of Appeal, Second District.

SCMA is proud to award its Cloke-Millen Award to Professor Avis Ridley-Thomas for her work in community mediation, and its Randolph Lowry Award to Professor Lisa Klerman for her work in establishing the Alternative Dispute Resolution program at the University of Southern California School of Law. SCMA has partnered with the American Arbitration Association to lead its famed Advanced Track for seasoned mediators.

Reddock-Wright also is a published author, and frequent speaker on preventing sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace, along with other workplace topics. She also is an Associate Professor at California State University Dominguez Hills, in the Negotiations, Conflict, Resolution, and Peace (NCRP) program, and is an Instructor in the human resources certification program at UCLA Extension.
Reddock-Wright is a graduate of UCLA School of Law, Amherst College, and the Coro Foundation Fellowship in Public Policy and Public Affairs. She received her training as a mediator from the Strauss Institute at the Pepperdine University School of Law.
