Attorney John L. North Joins Hill, Kertscher & Wharton, LLP

North brings over 27 years of experience to the firm’s intellectual property and business litigation practices. His prior work includes high-stakes litigation involving patent, copyright and trademark infringement, as well as unfair competition, securities fraud, and professional liability matters. North is leaving his position as a partner in the Atlanta office of Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP, prior to which he served as the chair of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP’s intellectual property group.
Steve Hill, co-founding partner at Hill, Kertscher & Wharton, LLP, believes that North’s addition will make a very positive and immediate impact on the firm’s cases, as well as future litigation for which it is retained. “John is one of the most effective attorneys in the country when it comes to very large and complex business disputes,” said Hill.
