Attorney Stuart M. Nachbar Gives the Gift of Song and Bears for Vets and Kids

Livingston, NJ (PRWEB) December 17, 2015 -- Attorney Stuart Nachbar recently helped to sponsor a Billy Joel tribute concert, helping to raise money for the Veterans Chamber of Commerce - NJ. Money raised from the concert, given by Wade Preston from Billy Joel’s Broadway hit “Movin’ Out” who played time-honored Billy Joel classics as well as original compositions, went to the Disabled American Veterans Association, Chapter 25, Lyons VA Hospital in Lyons, NJ. “It’s not often a man can sit in front of a piano and command full attention, but Mr. Preston can drop a stadium full of jaws, keeping his audiences engaged and participating,” said Nachbar.

In addition to sponsoring the concert given by Preston, who still does concerts with the Movin’ Out Band™, Nachbar offers pro bono legal services for the Veterans Chamber of Commerce. “When the Veterans Chamber has events, Stuart is always very helpful and asks what we need and gets it done,” said Kevin Murphy, COO and co-founder of the Veterans Chamber of Commerce - NJ. “He has sponsored and participated in two of our previous outings and has already booked a third.”

In addition to supporting the Veterans Chamber of Commerce - NJ, Nachbar also supported St. Jude’s via a teddy bear donation. He was thrilled to support St. Jude’s through Kay Jeweler’s popular plush campaign. The actual bears go to St. Barnabas Hospital, while an equal amount of proceeds goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is trying to build a research center.

“This is my second year doing it, and I am a proud supporter of St. Jude’s,” said Nachbar. “The Bears for St. Jude program not only helps the hospital, but puts a smile on the faces of sick children.”
