New capabilities let MSPs verify and enforce Microsoft 365 data protection and collaboration policy — including DLP for Microsoft 365 Copilot — from the same console where they already manage Conditional Access and Intune.
OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Augmentt, a multi-tenant Microsoft 365 security and compliance management platform built for managed service providers (MSPs), today announced new SharePoint, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Teams coverage within its Secure Autopilot module. The release gives MSPs a single place to manage and prove Microsoft 365 data protection and collaboration security across every client tenant.
Clients are turning on Microsoft 365 Copilot and asking their MSP whether their data is safe is a question MSPs have not had a consistent way to answer across a full customer base. Purview and Teams policy live behind per-client Microsoft admin portals that Microsoft 365 Lighthouse does not reach, and by default Microsoft 365 ships data protection off and collaboration open, leaving clients exposed by inaction rather than by a mistake.
With this release, Augmentt manages SharePoint, Purview and Teams policy from one place. MSPs can verify that Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies are enabled across every tenant, including DLP for Microsoft 365 Copilot; see which clients have sensitivity label policies published and deploy a baseline configuration where none exists; audit SharePoint and OneDrive sharing settings against a preferred benchmark and remediate a loose setting in a click; and set Teams meetings, messaging, app permission and external access policy across every tenant from a single screen instead of one admin center per client. Every check maps back to a recognized standard, so what an MSP's team manages and what it reports to a client or an auditor come from the same place.
The new coverage extends Secure Autopilot's existing multi-tenant architecture, which already includes Conditional Access policy management, Intune Autopilot, Defender policy management, and compliance auditing mapped to benchmarks including HIPAA, CMMC, NIST CSF and Essential Eight.
"Our MSPs have been telling us the same thing for months: they can set Conditional Access and Intune policy once and trust it holds, but Purview and Teams still meant logging into a different portal for every client," said Derik Belair, CEO & Co-Founder of Augmentt. "Clients are turning on Copilot and asking whether their data is protected, and MSPs need a straight answer across all of their tenants, not just the ones they had time to check. This release gives them that answer from the same place they already run the rest of their Microsoft 365 security practice."
SharePoint, Purview and Teams coverage is now generally available for existing Augmentt customers and new MSP partners. A baseline data-protection configuration can be deployed directly from Augmentt as a starting point; Augmentt recommends MSPs tune DLP and sensitivity-label policies to each client's data.
