Certification offers an independent review of a staffing firm's abilities to provide competent staffing services. Aureus Medical was one of the first healthcare staffing firms in the nation to become certified by The Joint Commission in 2005 and has successfully renewed its certification continually since that time.
As part of certification protocol, Aureus Medical underwent a rigorous onsite review. Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with national standards that assess how healthcare staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of staff, placement of staff, and how they monitor performance.
Independent and comprehensive evaluations are conducted every two years with online audits taking place in the off years. Monthly quality monitoring data is required to be submitted to the Joint Commission on an ongoing basis. Aureus Medical has received perfect audit scores since its first Joint Commission audit in 2005, with no deficiencies noted in any area.
