AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 07, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Local creative content company Arts+Labor has moved its offices into the former SXSW headquarters on 40th street adjacent to the Austin Chronicle. Along with the move, Arts+Labor is proud to announce the promotion of Cody Ground to Executive Creative Director, Kyle Cockayne to Head of Production, and Rachael Trigg to Head of Development. The company's also hired Scott Hamilton as Executive Producer, and Alie Jackson as Senior Art Director. This follows the departure of Executive Vice President Craig Parks, who will continue to work with the company in a strategic role in 2019. This new leadership team's work spans an incredible range of projects from independent films to branded content and social media campaigns. Their work includes the Amazon-released documentary 'Sir Doug and the Genuine Texas Cosmic Groove,' 'RuPaul's Drag Race,' 'Top Chef,' and media campaigns for Marvel, Universal Studios, and Warner Brothers.
Since its inception in 2006, Arts+Labor has produced 29 independent films and since 2014 it has had eight films premiere at Sundance and five at SXSW. In addition to film production, the firm has deep commercial experience. It created the City of Austin's new tourism commercial, and works with brands ranging from Hugo Boss to AMD and Dell. In addition to serving as SXSW's production partner, Arts+Labor produced Outside Industry, which chronicles the history of SXSW and debuted at the festival's 25th anniversary.
