SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Since 2015, Downs Wash Downs of Queensland Australia has developed an aggressive marketing plan for their mobile washing business.
One key to their success is using portable washing systems which collects its wash water for reuse. Wash water recycling allows them to work long hours in remote locations, cutting costs by reduced water hauling, and making their vehicle washing business more profitable. Water recycling is important in areas of the world where water is scarce.
Their portable wash rack system, utilizes an enclosed washing and wash water recycling system, called a Hydrosite from Hydro Engineering Inc, (hydroblaster.com). These portable washing systems include high pressure washing, water cannons, water treatment and recycling, chemical mixing and foaming soap application systems. All equipment is factory installed in an insulated, climatized enclosure and certified to UL, CE and CSA standards.
The washing area consists of an above ground wash rack system, internationally known as the Hydropad above ground steel wash rack. It provides a modular washing surface for vehicles and equipment allowing Downs Wash Downs to set up a wash area sized to equipment being washed. As equipment is cleaned, water and solids accumulate and are separated on the Hydropad wash rack, 100% of collected water is recycled and returned to washing equipment for re-use.
The Hydroblaster system is delivered to their customer's job site via 2-flatbed trucks and requires just 1-day for set up and dismantle. A generator provides electric power and a water tank supplies water, when a local source is not available.
Job durations can last from 2 weeks with Australia Defense Department to a year or more with QGC Shell and MPC Kinetic.
On its present job, 100 or more items are washed per week, including light vehicles, trucks, graders, 30 ton excavators and 55 ton Vermeer trenchers. This is a 7 day a week operation and very demanding.
On higher volume remote washing applications a Hydroblaster automatic undercarriage and wheel washing system (AUWS) is used. Vehicles and equipment roll over its 500 gallon (1,893 liters) per minute spraying system where heavy accumulations of dirt and mud are removed, prior to detail washing with water cannons and pressure washers.
