COCORD, N.C., June 11, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Arthur Bronson, who created the first African American fishing show, "Hook, Line, and Sinker," has completed his new book "How Is That Working for You?": a gripping and potent autobiographical work that shares the author's journey through life. He grew up with a constant awareness of how African American people were being treated, and after he was radicalized as a university student, he worked to spread anti-imperialist awareness. He began working with political activist groups in the '70s and '80s, but he needed to see more and meet new people with similar ideas. This caused him to travel to many countries, such as Chile, Cuba, Angola, Guinea-Bissau, Grenada, and more.
Author Arthur Bronson writes, "My beginning starts with my family of Bronsons, Greens, Coxs, and Comptons and the effect they had on my development as a child. On my fathers side, he, my uncle Henry, and my grandfather Arthur Filmore Bronson owned the first in Kansas City, Missouri, black taxicab business at the historic Eighteenth Street and Vine Jazz District. This was the heart of black businesses and cultural development in 1916. The black community in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was the Black Wall Street of the country until the white racists burned it down to the ground. But Kansas City, like New Orleans, were the birthplaces for the variety and styles of jazz. Memphis and Chicago had the flow of blues; however, Kansas City processed the blues and the jazz together. As I grew up in the fifties and sixties, I learned about self-motivation, pride, and segregation, and the will to be free at any cost!"
Published by Page Publishing, Arthur Bronson's impactful tale follows his lifelong journey working with political people of all class backgrounds, races, and ethnicities.
