NICHOLS HILLS, Okla., Sept. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Have you ever felt alone, insignificant or isolated? Many women today can experience certain circumstances where they feel lost and unseen. In "Do You See This Woman? Six Women Who Encountered Jesus Face-to-Face," author Laynie Travis illustrates an insightful and educational six-week study exploring six women in the Bible who were drastically transformed by their face-to-face encounters with Jesus Christ.
Throughout the study, Travis expresses the importance of these stories, by reflecting on experiences where women have felt invisible, unwanted, or insignificant. Readers will get a glimpse into how Jesus not only saw these women, but also gave them a purpose to live by setting them free. The study includes sessions that are dedicated to The Woman Jesus Saw, The Woman Jesus Rescued, The Woman Jesus Healed, The Woman Jesus Enlighted, The Woman Jesus Delivered, and the Woman Jesus Confronted. These stories that Travis shares will show readers that they are never alone or not seen by Jesus. Through these different interactions, the author expresses the value and love that Christ gave these six women when they were at rock bottom.
"I wrote this book because of the numerous questions that women would ask me about the lord. I started to notice that many of my friends had the same questions, 'Does God see me? Does He hear my prayers?' I too wrestled with feelings of insignificance and insecurity. Within the Bible I found women with similar feelings and questions.
Although these women face very different sets of challenges and circumstances, Jesus saw them and gave each of them what they needed. I discovered that the women in the Bible aren't so different from women today," said Travis. "I knew I needed to write a Bible study to provide these stories that were expressed within the Bible."
The six women in the Bible suffered heartache, shame, rejection, and isolation. These women knew they needed a savior and Jesus was there for them in their time of need. The overall message within this study is that even though an individual may be struggling or not feeling wanted, that they need to remember that Jesus sees, knows, values and loves them. These stories will show readers what it means to be loved by the God who sees.
