ROCHESTER, N.Y., Dec. 6, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Marion Marston, who immigrated from Jamaica as a child with her three younger siblings, has completed her new book "Blue": a colorful exploration of family, friendship, happiness, laughter, love, reflection, sadness, spirituality, and other topics.
After having two children and a degree in human services from Monroe Community College, Marion wanted a change. After lots of emotional ups and downs, she decided to go back to school and attended Rochester Institute of Technology where she earned a B.A. in psychology and then her master's in industrial and organizational psychology from Capella University and discovered her passion for writing.
For her, writing is a method of expression and an outlet to express things that she wouldn't necessarily tell or talk to anyone about. When not writing, she is spending time with family and friends. Marion also works on the goals that she has set for herself. As a certified Zumba instructor, she enjoys working out. Currently, Marion is also pursuing a career in higher education.
Published by Page Publishing, Marion's inspiring collection takes readers on a journey to the innermost thoughts and feelings of the author through the many meanings of blue.
Marston writes, "My journey has not been long, but it is in-depth. There have been fears, tears, and joy. The title Blue represents many different meanings. Being blue can explain feelings, emotions, moods, and some symbolism of truth, faith, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, and stability."
Readers who wish to experience this stirring work can purchase "Blue" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
