Author Monyue Odell Bright's Newly Released "The First Day of School" is an Engaging Children's Book Addressing the Pros and Cons of Starting School After Summer Break
"The First Day of School" from Christian Faith Publishing author Monyue Odell Bright is a charming short story that gives voice to the mixed feelings many children have about the beginning of the school year.
MEADVILLE, Pa., Sept.14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "The First Day of School" is the creation of published author Monyue Odell Bright, a special education teacher with over twenty years of experience in education, was employed with the Ponca City Public Schools at the time of this publication. She has since relocated to Florida where she will continue her teaching career. Originally from Liberia, she and her husband of thirty years, The Rev. Dee Wellington Bright, Sr. along with their daughter, Tinika, now reside in Palm Bay, FL. Their two adult children Dee, Jr., and Vonti live in Texas.
Monyue shares, "'The First Day of School' was originally written in response to a school assignment in a literary master's degree course in special education. The author's passion to promote the education of all students, especially those with special needs, led her to revise and publish it as a book. She believes that most students, particularly those with special needs, face the challenge of getting started on the first day of school. Once the first day of school is accomplished successfully, those students gain impetus and motivation to press on and hold through for all other days, weeks, and months of the school year. It is a book that motivates the students to start well so that they will finish well."
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Monyue Odell Bright's new book is a lighthearted and encouraging short story for school-age children.
