Agustin Pacheco, a retired high school teacher of forty years, has completed his new book “The Magic Seed”: a gripping and potent tale of a mother and daughter who find a magic seed while hiking in a forest.

Published by Page Publishing, Agustin Pacheco’s amiable tale follows Mireya and her mother, Raquel, as they see a sparkle on a rock while hiking. This sparkle turns out to be a special seed with properties Mireya and Raquel cannot imagine. They bring the seed home and plant it in a pot, and by the next morning, it is already sprouting. By the end of the day, the tree continues to rapidly grow, becoming almost as tall as Mireya. Mireya tells her school friends about the tree, and as it becomes nighttime, the tree glows and sparkles, illuminating the darkness.

Mireya and Raquel take the small tree to an open meadow to plant it, allowing the tree to grow larger than the confines of the pot. Several days later, Mireya and Raquel discover that the tree has grown into a giant tree. Mireya climbs up this huge tree, which is so large that Raquel gets worried and has to call her friend to rescue Mireya with a helicopter. Up in the high branches of this enchanted tree, Mireya is enjoying the fruit, nuts, veggies, and seeds that have grown, sparkling and glowing. The produce that grows on the tree is able to safely glide down with little parachutes and feed people from all over.

Readers who wish to experience this gripping work can purchase “The Magic Seed” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
