Recent release, "Weird" short, stupid poems for smart kids... ("Weird" for short), from Page Publishing author Andrea daVinci Braun, is a lighthearted children's book of giggle-inspiring poetry introducing a cast of wildly imaginative characters and their wacky endeavors.
ALLOUEZ, Mich., Aug. 3, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Michigan native, Andrea daVinci Braun, a former nightclub singer, performing throughout the U.S. and in Greenland and Newfoundland on USO tours - turned visual artist - turned writer, has completed her new book, "Weird" short, stupid poems for smart kids... ("Weird" for short): an entertaining literary debut for children of all ages.
The author writes, "The intention of publishing 'Weird' is to aid human and animal refugees, by donating its entire net profits to International Rescue Committee (IRC) and International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). My genuine desire is that you and the children in your life will relish the book's abject silliness.
I can't say what inspired me to create 'Weird' because I really don't know. The short, stupid poems simply started appearing on my computer screen, as I sat there musing one day, in my daily daze. More showed up the next day, and still more the day after that...and so forth. Soon after the last poem came to me, the illustrations for them began to emerge on my drawing pad, as I sat doodling at my drafting table. That, in itself, was weird! I can't explain any of it, and therefore, I can take neither the credit nor the blame for it!
I must say, however, that while in the midst of it all, I was quite entertained, as I hope you will be...enough to take a copy home with you perhaps? In any case, thank you for your interest, and my very best to you!"
Published by Page Publishing, Andrea daVinci Braun's engrossing book is an excellent addition to any home or school-based children's library.
Readers who wish to experience this engaging work can purchase "Weird" short, stupid poems for smart kids at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
