This story focuses on a girl who hails from a remote village, keen to obtain a proper education. She has both mental and physical gifts that make her popular in her village along with her respectable attitude and strong Christian faith. However, everything changed when an accident left her blind. Yet, blindness did not hinder her to do well as she finds ways to study without the use of her sight. Though she came from a wretched home, she was determined to be educated.
The story then moves forward when she met a boy with a similar financial circumstance who lived in another town. From the moment they met, their luck intertwined through the blessings of God and the worldly travails that threaten to come between them.
"It talks of determination to succeed despite challenges and the need to be generous to whoever one sees on the way as some are angels with which to test him to usher the blessings of God in wait for him. Because of the great instructional message it carries that would make one change his view of the world," Ozoma says.
