Kara More, the youngest of twelve children, has completed her new book “My Opinion: Just Some Thoughts”: a gripping and potent summary of the author’s political and social beliefs.
Author Kara More writes, “I’m an opinionated person, and I like to analyze everything that happens. It might be the Irish in me to give opinions on just about everything because I’ve been this way since I can remember. This is why I’ve decided to write a book on current social and political issues. Since I’m not a person who studies history, my opinions will be my own thoughts and conclusions with maybe a hint of history.
“Of course, everyone has their own opinions, and I respect the fact that their opinion may or may not agree with mine. But I have learned that I can always learn from reading or listening to others’ opinions. That doesn’t mean I’ll change my opinion, but there are times that I have benefited from others’ opinions. This open-minded way of thinking has given me a different way of thinking about a specific subject, but it doesn’t change my values or my understanding of right and wrong.
“My opinion may not always be accurate or make sense to others. Hopefully, people will think about each opinion before they toss them aside. Maybe my opinion will encourage people to ask a friend or themselves what they think, and may even create questions for a good debate, or even change a person’s opinion. I’m hoping that people who read my opinions will not reject them because of their emotions, but rather, I hope that they think about what I’ve said and keep an open mind before they decide whether they accept or disagree with that opinion.”
Published by Page Publishing, Kara More’s insightful book is one that readers will enjoy and incite conversations about various political and social issues. Throughout the course of this easy-to-read book, it is the intention of the author that most readers will find some of the opinions to be enlightening and, potentially, humorous.
The author has thoughts that readers may or may not agree with. Regardless of agreement, readers will find that the author has a unique perspective on issues from abortion to white privilege and beyond. Her opinions will make readers think more in-depth about their own beliefs and about why some issues are politicized and not quite realistic. The author also shares her insight about her own personal life that readers will find relatable. This is a book for all readers who want to learn about different, varied perspectives on various cultural issues.
Readers who wish to experience this irreverent work can purchase “My Opinion: Just Some Thoughts” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
