NEW ALBANY, Ohio (PRWEB) November 03, 2021
Author Kristina Jenny, a mother with fond memories of Wisconsin family trips, and Illustrator Marisa Jenny, a community leader with a passion for colored pencil art, have completed their new book “Summer at 4 Steps Way”: a whimsical collection of tales of friendly woodland creatures.
In one story, Jenny shows examples of remorse and forgiveness, writing “Suddenly there was a loud pounding on his door. As he cautiously opened it, Mister [Chipmunk] saw Gray [the squirrel] standing on the step. Her eyes were frightened. “I know you were upset with me for tossing shells onto your step today. I’m sorry. I wasn’t being very nice,” Gray said. “It’s all right,” said Mister. “The fierce winds have blown into my home and scattered it everywhere. May I please come in?” Gray looked very worried.”
Published by Page Publishing, Kristina Jenny and Illustrator Marisa Jenny’s enchanting tales offer children valuable lessons through stories they can appreciate and relate to.
Inspired by her annual trips to a cabin in Wisconsin, Jenny transformed her heartfelt memories into beautiful tales. After inquiring about what the woodland creatures were doing whilst they were away from their cabin, Jenny began telling her children about the adventures, friendship and kindness the
animals had and has transformed them into beautiful tales. Complete with talking points at the conclusion of each short story, children will get the most out of each and every story.
Readers who wish to experience this heartwarming work can purchase “Summer at 4 Steps Way” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
