Author Lily Caverton Tells Realities of Teens in ‘Senior Year’

“Senior Year” is a story about an adolescent girl who endured emotional manipulation and abuse at the hands of someone she deeply trusted, someone who introduced her to the world of marijuana, alcohol abuse and partying. The young girl suffers from a severe psychological breakdown in which she experiences extremely frightening hallucinations and delusions, and is hospitalized after nearly attempting suicide. Caverton faces many obstacles in her path that force her to question whether her life is even worth living, but with the help of family, friends and her therapist, she eventually moves on and gains hope.

Lily Caverton has been writing since she was 4 years old, when she used to hole-punch her books and tie ribbon to keep the pages together. She has always had a love for writing and is passionate about literature.
