Nick Trozzi, a California-based lifelong competitive and recreational runner, has completed his new book “Journal of a Road Warrior”: a nostalgic look at some of the most memorable events of his more than 2000-race running career.
The author writes, “The title uses the words ‘road warrior’ to express the competitive battles you have on the concrete roads against other runners training to get to the finish line before you and get the glory of beating you and all challengers. This is like your local weekly Olympic races, and at any skill level you feel like a winner that you completed this event. The stories within show, over the decades, the landscape of running changes in organized races. This pertains to everything from technology, costs, training, and keeping races relevant to current trend changes. This book was written not only for runners, but for everyone. Although the content of the book is primarily based on my running adventures, there are stories about family, life lessons learned, goals achieved, and much more. I was also able to see and meet a number of celebrities through my racing career and many of those stories are captured within the book, accompanied by photos.”
Published by Page Publishing, Nick Trozzi’s new book is an homage to a long and eventful running career and the personal satisfaction achieved in a pure form of friendly competition.
